| We contracted with Doug Sabetti of Newport Solar for a 3KW PV system on our new home in Dec. of 2010. We had talked with most of the solar contractors in R.I. before we chose Newport Solar. Doug was responsive in all our communication. He provided us with unambiguous information in a timely manner. He was extremely knowledgable about solar systems and the various options available. He was also familiar with the construction process and worked hand-in-glove with our on-site contractor. Doug managed the paperwork/permit processes, saving us a lot of trouble and possible confusion. He finished the work when he said he would, got the final inspection, and turned it on. We were delighted with Doug and Newport Solar. He made our entry into a “net-zero” PV system effortless.
